GOOGLE NIGERIA SEEKS PARTNERSHIP WITH FUT,MINNA


In order to boost learning and reseach through Information and Communication Technology in the University, Google Nigeria has solicited for collaboration with the Federal University of Tech, Minna in the area of Google applications usage in respect to Google Education edition.

This request was made on Tuesday, 26th Feb,2013 when the Google team paid a courtesy call on the VC in his office at the Gidan kwano campus.



Briefing the VC, Head, Project & Deployment of the firm, Mr. Chima Uba said the partnership with the university would be of benefit to both parties and noted that most African Universities have benefited immensely from the Google education package.

Mr. Uba also commented the university and the ITS team for the commitment shown towards ensuring that the partnership comes to fruition and promised to ensure that FUT,Minna gets a commensurate mileage from the partnership with Google.

In his response, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Musbau Adewumi Akanji, FNSBMB, lauded the Google team and assured them of management's support in order to ensure that the partnership succeeds.
